Scott has been a student of photography since his first plastic Playskool camera. In High school he was always snapping pictures, both student life candids', formal event coverage of music, plays and sporting events. For the Holland Hall Yearbook Scott was developing editor, working long hours in the darkroom and publications department. He was constantly pushing the element with film development techniques and photo printing/enlarging. As a senior he interned with local Portrait artists and participated in the TU (Tulsa University) All-City Art Show, TU awarded Scott an Art Scholarship.
College lead to more time working with another yearbook and more darkroom exposure. On campus Scott operated a Photography business by covering student gatherings and selling event pictures to students who wanted proof of their night time endeavors!
College also developed the Architectural depth of Scott’s artistic ability and he made his way into professional life in Architecture and Engineering in the Tulsa, OK Market. Working with various Architects and Engineers Scott mastered Computer Drafting. Eventually he helped one engineering firm (Phillips and Bacon) develop a photographic library of their award winning projects in Commercial, Business, Medical and Residential sectors using some of the industry’s first digital cameras. This collection developed into their first Website.
Now working with one of the area’s top construction companies, Scott continues to pursue his art of photography and artistic representation of Architectural Projects. He constantly visits a variety of sites and photographs Office space, Medical Centers, Museums, Religious Institutions, University Buildings and Sporting Complexes.
